Starting with several thousand images, here are some more of my favorite photos from my many railfan trips.

UP’s classic Challenger 3985 returns to Wyoming, crossing the Meramec River at Sherman Beach just east of Eureka, Missouri.

Amtrak’s Capitol Limited speeds toward Washington, D.C. along Mance Curve on the old B&O line west of Cumberland, Maryland. This is just east of railfan favorite Sand Patch.

Taken at Attica, Indiana, my hometown. This is now Norfolk Southern rails, formerly the Wabash between Detroit and St. Louis.

Leaving Chicago on a private car rail trip to Washington, D.C., sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of the National Rail Historical Society.

Leaving Washington, D.C. on the private rail car trip; see the faint image of the nation’s capitol in the background.
