The next monthly meeting of the Gateway Division will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in West St. Louis County. Carl Wessel will present on traction power (e.g., Metrolink), electrically powered rail systems using overhead wires. Some the topics Carl will discuss are what is it, how it operates, and modeling possibilities. Carl has worked on traction systems since the mid 80s including work on Northeast Corridor (Amtrak) and MBTA System in Boston. His work experience includes New Jersey Transit, Metrolink, and Metro Transit. Our monthly meetings are always open to the public. Refreshments are provided at the meeting. Guests are always welcome.
