Arrangements have been made for a tour of Metro East Industries, Inc. on Saturday, October 3, 2015, starting at 9:00 a.m. This special event is only for members of the Gateway Division NMRA and the St. Louis Chapter NRHS.
Metro East Industries is an industry leader in providing railcar and locomotive repair and maintenance, both in the shop and on the rail, for many class 1 railroads and regional carriers. They have been in existence for over two decades. Their state-of-the-art facilities span more than 80 acres of land on the Illinois side of the St. Louis metropolitan area.
