The next monthly meeting of the Gateway Division will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015 at VFW Post 805 in O’Fallon, IL. Jon Marx will discuss the history of the Nickel Plate Railroad and some of the railroad’s more interesting equipment. Jon will also discuss how he uses resources such as the Nickel Plate Road Historical and Technical Society to obtain information to aid in layout planning. Our monthly meetings are always open to the public. Refreshments are provided at the meeting. Guests are always welcome.
