The next monthly meeting of the Gateway Division will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in O’Fallon, Illinois. Lonnie Bathurst and Mark Lewis will show photos of the Litchfield Train Group layout, which is located in Litchfield Illinois, and describe the various scenes and towns. This freelanced model railroad depicts parts of central Illinois from Chicago (on the north) to Centralia (on the south). This layout was published in the July-October edition of Railroad Model Craftsman. Lonnie will include photos not published before as he provides a visual tour of the layout. Don’t miss your chance to see this railroad and have your questions answered by the man behind the vision that made this layout and club a reality. Gateway Division members attending the February meeting in O’Fallon will also have the opportunity to sign up to operate on this layout on Saturday, March 7th.
