The next monthly meeting of the Gateway Division will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in West St. Louis County. Gregor Moe will present a clinic on the use of static grass to achieve realistic scenery on your model railroad layout. The clinic will include a slide show on the way vegetation grows in the wild and ways to simulate it on your layout. It will be a hands-on clinic and you will have a chance to create your own vegetation using static grass. The kits for the Gateway NMRA 2014 Kitbash Contest will also be distributed at this meeting. Our monthly meetings are always open to the public. Refreshments are provided at the meeting. Guests are always welcome. More information, and driving directions to the meeting, are available on our website.
