The next monthly meeting of the Gateway Division will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in West St. Louis County. Brian Post will explain and demonstrate how to use your smart phone as a throttle to operate your DCC layout. This will be a hands-on clinic using the Gateway switching layout.
To prepare for the clinic, go to the app store and download the required software. For Apple download Wii Throttle (use the full version not the light version). For Android download the Engine Driver app. Make sure your phone’s battery is fully charged. We will have the business meeting first, then the clinic, to allow unlimited time to run trains.
Our monthly meetings are always open to the public. Refreshments are provided at the meeting. Guests are always welcome. More information, and driving directions to the meeting, are available on our website.
