Powered by DC, Bob’s HO scale layout uniquely combines his two hobbies, model railroading and boating. A beautiful harbor scene is the highlight of this fine layout. The harbor is alive with activity from the fisherman straining to haul his large net on to the wharf, to an open-air seafood restaurant. The wharf is busy with the unloading of an arriving freight shipment. Surrounding the harbor is a great little town with many scratchbuilt structures including the YMCA, a warehouse, two fishing boats, a covered bridge and trestle. A rural feel is created by the beautiful red barn and white farm house. More online industry is in development as Bob is constructing a large coal mine.
