Web Site Privacy Policy Statement
This is the official web site of the Gateway Division
NMRA, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational
organization incorporated in the State of Missouri and
serving model railroaders and the general public in the
Greater St. Louis Area including St. Louis City and
County, St. Charles and Jefferson counties in Missouri,
and southern Illinois.

For each visitor to our web site, our web server
automatically recognizes the visitor's IP address. It is
logged for web site aggregate information reporting.
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who
communicate with us via e-mail; only the IP address, but
not the e-mail address, of visitors to our web page for
aggregate information on what pages visitors access or
visit; and information volunteered by the visitor, such
as survey information, online orders, information
requests, and/or site registrations.
The information we collect is used to improve the
content of our Web site; used to notify visitors about
updates to our Web site; used to process an information
request or order; or used for internal review and is
then discarded. It is not shared with other
organizations for commercial purposes.
We do not modify
the software of a visitor's computer.

If you supply us with your postal address online you
will only receive the information for which you provided
us your address.
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers
online will only receive telephone contact from us with
information regarding requests or orders they have
placed online.
We do not partner with, or have special relationships
with, any ad server companies. We do have links to
Web.com (our web hosting provider), Microsoft
(provider of software used by us), Google (provider of
our custom search), AddThis (provider of our social
networking links), and Adobe (if you
need to download a copy of Acrobat Reader), as well as
links to various St. Louis companies and organizations
(on our links page). If you follow those links, please
review their specific privacy policies.
From time to time, we may use customer information
for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in
our privacy notice. If our information practices change
at some time in the future we will use, for these new
purposes only, data collected from the time of the
policy change forward.
Visitors may prevent their information from being
used for purposes other than those for which it was
originally collected by emailing us at the number
provided above, or writing us at the above address.
Upon request we provide site visitors with access to
contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number)
that we maintain about them, and/or a description of
information that we maintain about them. Visitors can
access this information by e-mail to us at the above
address, or by writing to us at the above address.
Upon request we offer visitors the ability to have
inaccuracies corrected in contact information. Visitors
can have this information corrected by sending us e-mail
at the above address, or writing to us at the above
address.
We make every attempt to have appropriate security
measures in place in our physical facilities to protect
against the loss, misuse or alteration of information
that we have collected from you at our site. We do not
store visitor's personal contact information, orders, or
information requests on our web server.
